Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong experience in Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing responsive web applications, working with relational databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

This is a full-time Work From Home opportunity for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced, flexible environment and is passionate about building user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive web applications using Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Create website layouts and user interfaces based on design concepts.
  • Build and maintain robust Node.js-based applications for desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Design and implement relational database schemas and perform SQL Server T-SQL development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define specifications.
  • Maintain and enhance existing websites and applications.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communication with team members and sponsors.
  • Provide status updates, usage reports, and documentation as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in web development.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and application architecture.
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL Server / T-SQL.
  • Understanding of full web development lifecycle (UI, backend, APIs, database).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience with BackboneJS, Marionette, or modern JS frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git or similar).
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Understanding of templates and framework design patterns.

Daily Activities

  • Gather project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop Node.js applications and front-end components.
  • Design and maintain SQL Server databases.
  • Communicate project progress with stakeholders.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates.
  • Track tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
