Project Overview

We are seeking a skilled web developer to enhance our healthcare websites. The goal is to improve functionality, add dynamic modules, update content, and provide UX/design recommendations that boost user engagement.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of healthcare standards, accessibility, and creating user-friendly, intuitive interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve site functionality and performance across multiple healthcare websites
  • Develop and integrate dynamic modules as needed
  • Update and maintain existing content with a focus on clarity and usability
  • Provide recommendations for UX and design improvements
  • Ensure websites meet accessibility standards (WCAG compliance)
  • Collaborate with the team on potential in-person brainstorming sessions

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in web development (front-end and basic back-end)
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (React, WordPress, or equivalent)
  • Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design
  • Familiarity with healthcare website standards and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Local to Southfield, MI for occasional in-person sessions
  • Experience with UX/UI design recommendations
