About the Role

We are seeking a talented Web App Developer to join our team and help build foundational planning applications from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to create tools that will directly improve business operations, replacing legacy Excel-based processes with modern, user-friendly web applications.

Job Summary

As a Web App Developer, you will be responsible for developing a suite of new applications, starting with a critical Range Assortment Planning tool. You will connect web apps to our Azure Database and Data Warehouse, enabling users to interact with planning data efficiently. Over time, you will expand functionality to allow users to update master data in Aptos directly through the application and build additional planning tools to support the team’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build intuitive web applications from scratch using modern web technologies.
  • Connect applications to Azure Database and Data Warehouse for seamless data retrieval and display.
  • Develop clean, functional user interfaces that allow users to easily view and interact with data.
  • Implement features that enable data updates in the UI, ensuring changes propagate to the Aptos system.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Planning Officer and planning team to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Maintain code quality and documentation for scalable, maintainable applications.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in web application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and writing queries to fetch and manipulate data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional code.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
