A leading global retail and technology organization is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Data Science with a strong Generative AI focus to lead enterprise-scale AI innovation initiatives in Bentonville, Arkansas. This is a high-impact leadership role suited for professionals who excel at combining technical depth with strategic vision to deliver scalable AI solutions that transform customer experience and business operations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Generative AI, multi-agent systems, and large-scale AI deployment, along with strong cross-functional leadership capabilities. You will play a central role in defining GenAI strategy, driving business transformation through intelligent automation, and building next-generation AI platforms that enable context-aware enterprise applications.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year Generative AI strategy and enterprise roadmap

Lead the design and deployment of multi-agent LLM systems, RAG pipelines, and scalable AI architectures

Collaborate with product, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to align AI initiatives with business goals

Identify opportunities to embed AI-driven automation into workflows to improve efficiency and growth

Drive experimentation with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI solutions

Partner with technical teams to build reusable, platform-centric AI capabilities across the organization

Translate complex AI concepts into measurable business impact for senior stakeholders

Lead transformation initiatives that enhance customer engagement and marketing performance


Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

7+ years of experience in product management, data science, AI, or related domains (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience leading enterprise AI or Generative AI initiatives

Strong knowledge of modern AI architectures, LLM frameworks, and cloud-native technologies

Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders

Hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions in production environments


Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

Experience working on large-scale consumer or enterprise platforms

Background in customer analytics, marketing technology, or digital transformation initiatives

Experience leading rapid AI experimentation and innovation programs

Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive product design practices


Compensation & Benefits
