Job title: Accountant – US Accounting (Remote, Night Shift)

Work hours: Night Shift (Aligned with American business hours)

About the role

We are looking for an extension-oriented and experienced accountant with a strong background in American accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hand experience, which manages accounting tasks for American-based customers, ensuring compliance, accuracy and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with US GAAP.
• Handle accounts payable, receive accounts, bank harmony and general account book entries.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets and income statement.
• Display the end of the month and the end closing activities of the year.
• Ensure accuracy in tax compliance, reporting and filing (according to US standards).
• Manage payroll and tax compliance for employees working under various American visa categories (H1B, L1, Opt, CPT, Green Card, etc.).
• Cooperate with US-based customers and internal teams during American work hours.
• Provide assistance for audit, financial analysis and reporting requirements.

Requirements
• Minimum 4 years experience in US accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, bookkeeping, tax compliance and payroll accounting.
• Hands-on experience managing visa-related parole, taxation, and compliance (H1B, L1, Opt, CPT, etc.).
• Quickbooks, Xero, Netsuite, or proficiency in similar accounting software.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and Financial Reporting Tools.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to work with American customers.
• The ability to work independently, complete the deadline and manage many tasks.
• One should be comfortable working in a night shift (US time zone).
• Preferred merit
• CPA, CA (US/India), CMA, or MBA in Finance/Accounting)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,312.65 – ₹55,152.18 per month
