We are currently seeking 3 enthusiastic and customer-focused Food and Beverage Servers to join our restaurant team. This is an urgent hiring opportunity open to both Canadian residents and international applicants. LMIA sponsorship is available for eligible foreign workers who require a work permit to legally work in Canada.

Job Overview:

As a Food and Beverage Server, your role is to provide outstanding dining service to guests by taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will be the face of the restaurant, making guests feel welcome and ensuring they have a memorable dining experience.

This position is ideal for individuals who are energetic, outgoing, and passionate about food service. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an asset, but not required – training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service & Order Taking:
• Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
• Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences.
• Ensure guests’ dietary needs and allergies are communicated to the kitchen.

2. Food & Beverage Service:
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Refill drinks and check on guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
• Ensure all orders are correct and meet quality standards before serving.
• Assist in preparing tables with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments.

3. Payment Handling & Billing:
• Present bills to guests and process payments via cash, credit card, or POS system.
• Handle customer inquiries about pricing, promotions, and menu items.
• Ensure accurate transactions and proper cash handling.

4. Restaurant Cleanliness & Organization:
• Clear and clean tables efficiently after guests leave.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, bar, and workstations.
• Ensure utensils, glasses, and plates are clean and stocked.

5. Team Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure food is served promptly.
• Coordinate with bartenders for timely drink service.
• Assist fellow servers when needed to provide seamless service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:
• No formal education required.
• Basic English language skills to communicate with customers and team members.

Experience:
• No previous serving experience required – training will be provided.
• Experience as a Waiter, Waitress, Food Server, or Bartender is an asset.

Skills and Qualities:
• Friendly and customer-oriented – Must enjoy interacting with guests.
• Ability to multitask – Handle multiple orders and requests at once.
• Fast learner – Quickly understand menu items, specials, and restaurant procedures.
• Team player – Work well with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers.
• Professional and well-groomed appearance.
