URGENT : Automation Test Engineer (Full-Time Remote, 12+ Month Contract, USA ET Working hours)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong proficiency in Selenium using C# . The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can hit the ground running and deliver immediate value. This is a full-time remote position offered on a 6-month contract , with the possibility of extension based on performance. Please note that the role requires night-shift hours to align with our U.S.-based client’s time zone.

Qualifications :
• Mandatory minimum of 6 years hands-on experience with Selenium and C# .
• Proficiency in Visual Studio .Net C#, XPath, Javascript, SQL, API, and Postman is a must.
• Proficiency in conducting functional software testing, including the ability to design, implement, and execute test cases based on acceptance criteria and business requirements.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices in software testing, including the identification and reporting of defects, regression testing, and test documentation.
• Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria, ensuring that software meets the specified business needs.
• Ability to write test cases based on complex technical requirements independently.
• Key qualifications include exceptional troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, acute attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to collaborate effectively within a team is equally crucial.

Nice to Have :
• Experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with JMeter or other performance testing tools.
