Job Description

Join Google’s dynamic engineering teams as a Summer Software Engineer Intern. Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
• Research and implement new technologies and best practices.

Required Skills
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including, but not limited to: Java, C++, Python, Go, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must be available for a full-time, 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2025.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous internship experience in software development or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale systems, distributed systems, or cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of operating systems, networking, and databases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
