Responsibilities : – Develop and maintain robust software applications using Visual Basic .NET and Visual Basic to support our Property & Casualty Insurance services. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and optimize software solutions that meet business requirements. – Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility and design within time and cost constraints. – Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. – Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality software delivery. – Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements to existing systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness. – Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members. – Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into our software development process. – Ensure software documentation is comprehensive and up-to-date for future reference and training purposes. – Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements ensuring alignment with business goals. – Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction. – Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. – Support the deployment of applications and provide post-deployment support to resolve any issues.
