We are seeking a skilled and motivated hands on lead who can help BT continue to deliver secure services at scale.. This position is located in Pune, India About the Role Seeking a passionate, innovative, and customer-focused Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead Hybrid Cloud Engineering, including design, development, deployment, and automation. This role requires strong technical and management skills to lead projects, maintain partner relationships, and support escalations. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will also adopt new cloud technologies, lead the Cloud Center of Excellence, and manage budgeting and forecasting. Additionally, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will ensure system health and security and will work with a team of technology professionals providing 24×7 operational support. About You 10+ years of experience in Hybrid Cloud Engineering, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Skilled in datacenter management, Linux and Windows operating systems, microservices architectures, and container orchestration platforms. Design and architect complex infrastructure solutions encompassing on-premises, cloud (AWS), and hybrid environments. Provide technical leadership and guidance in the implementation and maintenance of Linux and Windows Server environments. Architect and manage Citrix NetScaler for load balancing, traffic management, and security. Design and implement scalable and high-performing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions. Proficient in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code, utilizing tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python, and PowerShell. Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, drive cloud best practices, and implement modern technology solutions. Extensive experience with core AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS) and cost optimization strategies. In-depth understanding of cloud governance, AWS security controls, and network boundary controls. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a high-trust and innovative environment. Additional Skills and Qualifications Strong networking and security skills. Strong Operating Systems experience in Windows Server and/or Linux Extensive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Experience with Risk and Demand management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Technology certifications are a plus.
