About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing group, you will contribute to the engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. This role provides the opportunity to work on complex infrastructure projects that support cutting-edge technology environments while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical system designs that meet client requirements, industry standards, and project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical engineering designs for data center power distribution systems
- Design UPS systems, emergency power, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish design requirements and construction documentation
- Perform quality reviews of engineering packages and technical deliverables
- Support construction activities through coordination with clients, owners, and contractors
- Contribute to scope, schedule, budget, and quality management
- Participate in retrofit and modernization projects for existing facilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical engineering design for medium and low voltage systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong knowledge of industrial facility and building electrical systems
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
- Solid understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC) standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of data center design experience
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with large-scale or greenfield projects
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings, infrastructure, and construction innovation
