Job Details

  • Serve as Automation & Integration Lead supporting a large-scale federal IT program.
  • Provide technical leadership across automation, API integration, and AI/ML engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure interoperability between systems and mission partners.
  • Lead modernization and integration strategies across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Automation, Integration, and AI/ML engineering sub-team.
  • Coordinate API management, interface maintenance, and system integration activities.
  • Oversee test automation strategy and implementation.
  • Monitor and track integration health across platforms and environments.
  • Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders for successful integrations.
  • Provide status updates, risks, and technical recommendations to the Project Manager.
  • Guide engineering teams on best practices for automation, integration, and scalable system design.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise information technology.

Skills

  • Experience with automation frameworks, API integration, and enterprise system interoperability.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting federal or DoD environments.
  • Experience with AI/ML engineering initiatives.
  • Experience with modern cloud platforms and DevSecOps practices.
  • Azure certifications.
