Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our macOS team. In this role, you will own critical parts of the macOS app architecture, ship production-ready code, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves user-focused product development, and is passionate about accessibility and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and product decisions for the macOS application.
  • Write, test, and ship production-quality code for millions of users.
  • Maintain and evolve complex app architecture with performance and stability in mind.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to shape features from concept to launch.
  • Participate in product planning and roadmap discussions.
  • Drive improvements in code quality, CI/CD processes, and development workflows.

Requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven track record shipping macOS (or desktop) applications at scale.
  • Deep focus on user experience with strong engineering instincts.
  • Ability to make strategic product decisions and prioritize features effectively.
  • Experience working in remote, distributed teams.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI for macOS development.
  • Solid understanding of AppKit and desktop-specific UI paradigms.
  • Strong knowledge of concurrency and asynchronous execution models.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows such as Bitrise, Xcode Cloud, GitHub Actions.
