  • Salary Range: $140,000 – $200,000 per year + Bonus + Equity
  • Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level
  • Team: macOS Product Engineering

This role focuses on building and scaling the macOS desktop application used by millions of users worldwide, with ownership over architecture, performance, and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience shipping macOS or desktop applications at scale
  • Strong product mindset with focus on user experience and performance
  • Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, distributed teams
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and product decisions for the macOS application
  • Design, develop, test, and ship production-quality software
  • Maintain and evolve complex application architecture for scalability and stability
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver features from concept to launch
  • Participate in roadmap planning and product strategy discussions
  • Improve code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows
  • Optimize performance for large-scale user adoption
