Job Details
- Job Title: Software Engineer – macOS Core Product
- Location: Corona, USA (Remote-First Culture)
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Salary Range: $140,000 – $200,000 per year + Bonus + Equity
- Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level
- Team: macOS Product Engineering
This role focuses on building and scaling the macOS desktop application used by millions of users worldwide, with ownership over architecture, performance, and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience shipping macOS or desktop applications at scale
- Strong product mindset with focus on user experience and performance
- Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, distributed teams
- Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and product decisions for the macOS application
- Design, develop, test, and ship production-quality software
- Maintain and evolve complex application architecture for scalability and stability
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver features from concept to launch
- Participate in roadmap planning and product strategy discussions
- Improve code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and development workflows
- Optimize performance for large-scale user adoption
