A 6-year-old, rapidly growing health & wellness company is seeking a Senior Shopify Plus Web Developer to join their nationally distributed virtual team. Privately owned by an established naturopathic doctor, the company specializes in nutritional supplements, greens, detox shakes, health coaching memberships, and nutritional home lab testing kits.

With a loyal social media following, top podcast, targeted online advertising, and strong customer referrals, the company continues to scale its direct-to-consumer eCommerce platform.

Role Overview

As a Senior Shopify Plus Web Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s Shopify Plus eCommerce websites, integrations, and custom features. You will work closely with tech and marketing teams to deliver scalable, responsive, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Shopify themes and scripts.
  • Integrate 3rd party and SaaS platforms for seamless eCommerce operations.
  • Build and maintain websites, databases, and applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and intuitive code.
  • Collaborate with tech, marketing, and cross-functional teams.
  • Uphold high standards of code quality and eCommerce best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in website development, front-end web development, or eCommerce.
  • Strong experience with Shopify Plus.
  • Proficiency with REST API, GraphQL, JSON, and web authentication.
  • Expertise in responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, A/B testing, and unit testing.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design and web standards.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and ability to execute with excellence.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver and team collaborator in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Systems, or related fields.
