About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer / Senior UX Designer to lead the creation of intuitive, user-centric digital experiences for applications and websites. This role focuses on improving education technology solutions and ensuring seamless integration that empowers organizations to focus on student success.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, UX strategy expertise, and hands-on design capabilities while working with minimal supervision and significant autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UX/UI strategy and ensure designs align with user needs and industry best practices
  • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes based on research insights
  • Maintain a strong user-centric focus throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder outreach
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, leadership, and cross-functional teams
  • Translate research findings into actionable product requirements and roadmaps
  • Ensure applications meet accessibility and compliance standards
  • Oversee large-scale UX/UI initiatives and guide design decisions
  • Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders and leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in UX/UI design, product design, software development, or digital design
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user research, usability testing, and visual design work
  • Proven experience designing wireframes, prototypes, and mockups (Figma or similar tools)
  • Experience conducting user and usability research
  • Strong communication, writing, and facilitation skills
  • Experience leading large-scale UX/UI projects
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and compliance guidelines
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira or similar issue-tracking tools
  • Experience working with education agencies or government organizations (preferred)
