To support AWDs rapid growth
we are hiring a Senior UX Designer to redefine the seller experience with intuitive
innovative design solutions
In this role
you will be at the forefront of understanding seller needs and crafting seamless
user
centric experiences across platforms and touch points
Youll work closely with cross
functional teams
including product managers
engineers
marketers
researchers
and content writers
to design solutions that empower sellers and drive AWDs continued success
Key job responsibilities
Bring forward innovative ideas and solutions and raise the bar on sellers experience in managing their inventory
shipments
orders and distributions

Effectively advocate and design for the customer through gathering and using objective data such as customer insights
market analysis
balancing design with technical constraints
opportunities and business insights

Partner closely with business and engineering teams to plan and balance immediate changes with long
term
scalable solutions

Quickly and thoroughly creating user flows
wire frames
visual designs
and prototypes to effectively concept and communicate detailed interaction behaviors that support decision making and development

Conduct user research to test design concepts
gathering user feedback
and effectively incorporate user insights into design solutions
Proactively initiate
plan and prioritize design roadmap based on user research insights and interpreting analytic data

Present design work to UX partners
cross
disciplinary teams
and executive leaders

Be a champion for user
centered design culture and best practices in the design team and for cross
functional teams

A day in the lifeAs a Senior UX Designer in SCA UX team
youll work at the intersection of strategy and execution
UX design and user research
collaborating across global teams to shape impactful user experiences
Your typical day involves close partnership with engineering and product teams in India and Bellevue
as well as fellow UX designers
researchers and writers across locations to drive design solutions from concept to implementation
This role offers unique opportunities to influence core design decisions while working hands
on to deliver exceptional user experiences through close collaboration with cross
functional partners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
8
years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Experience with design tools such as Photoshop
Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML
JavaScript
CSS
Ajax
Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
Experience in qualitative user researchPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
