Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team, supporting projects originating from Baltimore, Maryland, US . Key Responsibilities:
Designing, coding, testing, and deploying scalable and robust software applications. Collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Leading code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. Mentoring and coaching junior software engineers. Troubleshooting and debugging complex software issues. Contributing to architectural decisions and technology stack selection. Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Writing comprehensive technical documentation. Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Participating in agile development processes and sprint planning.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience. Expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, JavaScript) and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are essential. Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and database technologies is highly desirable. Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing, version control, and CI/CD, is required. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are critical for success in a remote environment.
