Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 5–6 years of experience to help build and scale modern healthcare platforms. In this role, you will design and develop high-performance microservices capable of handling large volumes of healthcare data and transactions.

You will work with a talented engineering team to create reliable, secure, and scalable backend systems that power critical healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs supporting high-traffic healthcare platforms.
• Work with message brokers such as Kafka or Amazon SQS for event-driven systems.
• Design efficient data models and database interactions.
• Optimize application performance for large-scale transaction processing.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and architecture teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and system design discussions.
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and reliability standards.

Required Skills

• 5–6 years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Experience building high-scale distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or Amazon SQS
• Strong database experience with:
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
  • Redis
• Experience designing and optimizing REST APIs
• Knowledge of scalable architecture and system performance tuning
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on healthcare or regulated industry platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
• Understanding of event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
