This role focuses on designing and developing modern web systems, APIs, and microservices in a fast-paced Agile and DevSecOps environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of software development experience (or strong foundational skills for entry candidates)
  • Experience with Java and JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular)
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, responsive design)
  • Experience with API and microservices development (Spring Boot preferred)
  • Familiarity with Git version control and automated testing
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and container platforms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Cloud experience (AWS or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Mobile development experience
  • Identity management tools like Okta
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack web applications and microservices from concept to production
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to modernize and maintain applications
  • Implement DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
  • Analyze system architecture and recommend improvements
  • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and performance optimization
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing processes
  • Support cloud-native and container-based deployments
