Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to join the engineering team at Tether.io. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure, scalable, and high-performance frontend systems that power financial technology applications.

You will work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and security specialists to deliver seamless user experiences for complex financial workflows. This role requires strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks, performance optimization, and secure coding practices, especially in fintech environments where data integrity and system reliability are critical.

The ideal candidate is someone who can translate complex financial logic into intuitive and responsive user interfaces while maintaining strict security standards and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced frontend applications for fintech platforms
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Collaborate with backend and blockchain engineering teams to integrate APIs and financial data systems
• Implement best practices for frontend security, including data protection and secure authentication flows
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in frontend development (6+ years preferred)

• Deep understanding of frontend architecture and state management systems
• Experience working with REST APIs and/or GraphQL integrations
• Strong knowledge of web security principles, especially in financial applications
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for large-scale applications
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
