Job Description
Lateral Group is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join its growing remote engineering team in the LATAM region.
In this role, you will work closely with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to create responsive, scalable, and high-performing web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern front-end technologies and a passion for building seamless digital user experiences.
As a senior-level engineer, you will also contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and help improve development processes across projects. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex technical challenges while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern front-end applications using advanced JavaScript frameworks
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform design concepts into responsive and interactive interfaces

- Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Proven experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Deep understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Familiarity with state management libraries and component-based architecture
- Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and debugging tools
- Experience working with Git and modern development workflows
- Understanding of performance optimization and web accessibility standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in remote work environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred
