About the Role

Neuberger Berman’s Private Wealth Technology team is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer (.NET/C#) to design, build, and operate high-performance, scalable applications and integrations across wealth-management data domains. This role is ideal for engineers with strong C#/.NET skills, deep SQL/data expertise, and full-stack experience who can work autonomously to deliver solutions from requirements through production and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal applications and integrations with third-party platforms across the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Collaborate with business and operations teams to gather requirements and produce technical specifications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; enforce team standards via code reviews and documentation.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions across the SDLC: design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release validation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues; optimize performance and ensure reliability.
  • Contribute to platform modernization initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and promote best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years professional software development experience; BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong backend expertise in C#/.NET, building and operating production services.
  • Advanced SQL/data skills, including data modeling, analysis, complex queries, and ETL/ELT concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake.
  • Full-stack web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery).
  • Hands-on integration with REST/SOAP services (JSON/XML).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Agile/Scrum experience and ability to operate independently.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience deploying and operating distributed systems on Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and event-driven/service-oriented architecture.
  • Knowledge of Excel macros/VBA is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $130,000 – $170,000 (plus discretionary bonus)
