Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Back-End Web Developer to join our remote software development team. This role focuses on building robust server-side applications, managing databases, implementing business logic, and ensuring secure, scalable cloud-based architectures. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with front-end developers, data engineers, and cross-functional business teams to deliver high-performance web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize server-side application logic and backend services.
  • Design, implement, and manage data storage solutions using SQL, NoSQL, or key-value databases.
  • Ensure database performance, reliability, and responsiveness across applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic.
  • Architect and implement cloud-based services and cloud functions.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices.
  • Integrate multiple data sources and third-party services into unified systems.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across applications and environments.
  • Work with business and marketing stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8–10+ years of experience in backend or full-stack web development roles.
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern backend runtimes such as Node.js, Deno, or Bun.
  • Experience with additional backend languages such as Python, Go, or Rust is beneficial.
  • Proven experience working with cloud platforms and distributed architectures.
  • Strong understanding of backend development lifecycle, API architecture, and system design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
