Job Details

  • Job Title: Backend Java Developer
  • Work Mode: Remote / Work From Home
  • Shift Timing: India Time 6:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Until 5 PM US EST)
  • Employment Type: Long-Term Contract
  • Experience Required: 10+ Years
  • Start Date: Immediate

We are looking for a highly experienced Backend Java Developer who can work independently in a distributed team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of backend systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience in backend development using Java
  • Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle
  • Proven experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting
  • Experience with JPA/Hibernate is a strong advantage
  • Prior experience working in remote or distributed teams preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java
  • Optimize application performance and improve system efficiency
  • Write efficient SQL queries and manage relational database systems
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement reliable solutions
  • Collaborate with remote engineering teams across time zones
  • Follow coding standards, testing practices, and documentation processes
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning
