Job description: A global business services company is seeking a strong Senior Software Engineer to join one of their fastest growing business units! Within the digital branding team, they are responsible for effectively managing, promoting, and securing outside clients valuable brand assets against the threats of the online world. As an experienced software engineer, this individual will assist in the development of reusable API’s within the platform and will ideally influence how new solutions are built moving forward.

Additional Responsibilities include:

Write software in Java, Python for creating, extending and maintaining microservices and API frameworks

Build stable, scalable, and secure backend services

Build software deployment pipelines using CI/CD best practices

Be an active participant in the SCRUM software development process by working closely with other team members to deliver working software

This is a permanent job opportunity and this individual will be expected to follow an onsite/remote hybrid model out of Gaithersburg, MD.

– Experience with Elasticsearch and Devops technologies

– 7+ years of software engineering and API development within an enterprise environment

– Strong Java development skills and experience with Python

– Experience with Docker or other contanierization technologies

– Experience working in a cloud based environment (AWS preferred) and experience with CI/CD development methodology

– Experience working in Agile

– Strong communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
