[Remote] Senior .NET Software Engineer

Job Description

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bridgeway is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment, collaborating with engineers as well as our professional services team. The role focuses on maintaining several critical applications and requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a productive team-centric environment.

Responsibilities
• Maintain and update major application sub systems using .NET, and related technologies
• Assess requirements for software development projects
• Provide support and research for existing and new software, and investigate, recommend, and implement new technology and solutions
• Adhere to technical standards within the industry and within Bridgeway
• Participate in multiple concurrent projects, to include product enhancements, client customizations, third party integrations, and product maintenance
• Collaborate with our Engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to define and execute plans for standardization scaling and enhancements to our products and services utilized in deployment, installation, and release efforts
• Maintain SCRUM Methodology and documentation of user stories, features, and other release notes to best assist implementation application support teams
• Develop programming effort estimations based on requirements and scope of project and manage work progress against schedule commitments, utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) for task management
• Advocate for continuous improvement

Skills
• 3+ years’ professional software engineering experience in full .NET framework, .NET 8, Object Oriented Methodologies, Web Services, and frontend web technologies
• 1+ years of experience in application design, implementation, maintenance, diagnosing and issue resolution, managing security, etc
• Experience with Visual Studio required
• Strong understanding of Agile Methodology
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Angular, HTML, JavaScript preferred
• Experience with C# and WPF, strongly preferred
• Experience with Azure, DevOps – CI/CD, containerization, Firebird preferred
• Experience developing in a large-scale or multi-platform environment preferred
