[Remote] SAP AI / GenAI Engineer

Job Description

Applicantz is a company that connects talent with opportunities, and they are seeking a Senior SAP AI / Generative AI Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions. This role focuses on building production-ready GenAI and AI applications using SAP AI technologies, integrated with core business processes.

Responsibilities
• Design, build, and deploy AI & GenAI solutions on SAP BTP using SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad, and SAP Joule
• Develop RAG-based GenAI architectures grounded in SAP enterprise data
• Implement MCP-enabled integrations connecting LLMs with SAP systems and APIs
• Build Python-based AI services for inference, orchestration, and integration
• Integrate AI solutions into SAP business processes (O2C, P2P, R2R)
• Manage AI lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, governance, and Responsible AI practices
• Collaborate with SAP functional, data, and business teams to drive real-world AI use cases
• Apply CI/CD, MLOps, and scalable deployment patterns for enterprise AI

Skills
• 5-7 years of experience in AI / ML engineering
• Hands-on experience with SAP AI services (AI Core, AI Launchpad, Joule)
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience implementing Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of RAG architectures, LLM integration, and orchestration patterns (MCP or similar)
• Experience integrating AI solutions via APIs and SAP services
• Knowledge of SAP data models and enterprise process integration
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement)
• Exposure to SAP Datasphere, Integration Suite, HANA Cloud
• Knowledge of SAP CAP / RAP or BTP extensibility
• Experience building agent-based AI solutions using SAP Joule
