💻 Role Overview

As Lead UI / Frontend Developer, you will:

  • Lead the frontend development team, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Mentor engineers on architecture, testing, and documentation best practices.
  • Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to translate business goals into scalable UI solutions.
  • Establish and maintain engineering processes including pull request workflows, design reviews, and test automation.
  • Drive adoption of frontend patterns at scale, including Micro Frontends and monorepo tooling like Nx.
  • Promote smart use of AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement frontend architecture at scale.
  • Integrate with APIs and microservices, ensuring maintainable and robust solutions.
  • Oversee unit, functional, and integration testing.
  • Work with cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or Pivotal.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar) for reliable deployments.
  • Implement modern deployment patterns and optimize for performance and scalability.

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years engineering experience, including 3+ years with React and TypeScript.
  • Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript and the React ecosystem.
  • Experience with monorepos, Nx tooling, and Micro Frontends.
  • Strong understanding of unit, functional, and integration testing.
  • Experience in Agile environments and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of NGINX, cloud-native apps, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Background in fintech, investment banking, or capital markets is a plus.
  • Experience leveraging GenAI or LLM tools to enhance code quality is desirable.
