[Remote] CET Configura Software Developer

Job Description

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Expogain is seeking an experienced CET Configura Software Developer to join their North American development team. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining CET and external integrations while collaborating with global customers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
• Develop, extend, and maintain CET Designer (Configura) extensions using the Configura SDK (CET Developer / CM Custom Programming Language)
• Translate complex product rules, geometry, and pricing logic into configurable solutions
• Collaborate daily with Global project managers, designers, and product engineers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality code on schedule
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to extension behavior, performance, or deployment
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices in object-oriented design
• Participate in agile sprints, version control (Git), and code reviews across distributed teams
• Help with integration with web services, ERP, and PIM systems when required
• Provide occasional flex coordination to align with U.S. or sometimes European time zones

Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical discipline
• 3 or more years of experience in software development with solid C#, .NET, or object-oriented programming skills
• 2 or more years hands-on experience with CET Designer, CET Developer, and Configura platform ecosystem development is required
• Understanding of 3D modeling, geometry, or rule-based configuration logic
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills
• Experience integrating CET extensions with REST APIs, SQL databases, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with furniture or interiors industry data, 3D assets, or visualization workflows
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development and remote collaboration tools (Jira, Teams, Slack)
