Regional IT Support Specialist 💰 Salary: $62,400 – 76,960 per year

📝 Rquirements:
– I seek candidates with experience in supporting PCs within a complex network environment.
– Familiarity with Cloud Solutions, such as Google Apps, Office 365, and MS Azure is essential.
– Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server (all versions), Microsoft SQL Server (all versions), Microsoft SharePoint, and desktop productivity software is required.
– Knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI 7-layer model, and basic network routing and switching technologies, including experience troubleshooting WANs, LANs, VPNs, and firewalls, is needed.
– A valid California driver’s license and the ability to be covered under the organization’s vehicle insurance program are required.
– Demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities effectively.
– Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work independently.
– A two-year technical degree or a minimum of three years of relevant experience is necessary.
– IT professional certifications and training are advantageous.

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are:
– I am responsible for accurately logging time and expenses, entering activities in ConnectWise, and ensuring compliance with the organization’s high standards for time records and trouble ticket updates.
– I adhere to company policies regarding the management of service requests.
– I monitor and maintain systems to track updates, security, performance, and server room environmental conditions.
– I handle various client systems for backup, recovery, and business continuity needs.
– I troubleshoot software and hardware issues remotely to sustain optimal performance and system uptime.
– I review hardware and software on LAN/WAN systems as part of my duties.
– I assist clients and fellow technicians in resolving hardware and software problems.
– My role includes installation and production responsibilities adhering to company standards, including tasks like assembling infrastructure racks, installing equipment, configuring networks, software, service calls, troubleshooting systems, and completing project documentation.
– I collaborate directly with the Chief Technology Officer on complex requests and projects.
– I ensure operational efficiency in the field by utilizing available resources such as manufacturer technical support, installation manuals, and the expertise of colleagues, while ensuring timely entries of time and expenses in ConnectWise.
– I participate in an on-call rotation, which may involve extended and weekend hours, and I fulfill on-call responsibilities per company policy, alongside other support and technical duties as assigned by Management.
– I actively share my experience and knowledge with team members to enhance our collective effectiveness and suggest improved methods to resolve client issues while assisting other technicians when necessary.
