Team Lead – Recruiting US
Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone preferred)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruitment Team Lead to join our organization. This role requires a proven background in Utilities & Energy sector recruiting (non-IT focus) with the ability to lead and mentor a team of recruiters . The Team Lead will oversee submissions, coach and guide recruiters, and ensure timely, high-quality candidate delivery across multiple engineering and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership & Oversight
• Lead, mentor, and train a team of recruiters, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to deadlines.
• Review submissions for quality and accuracy before client delivery.
• Provide regular coaching and feedback to team members.
• Recruitment Strategy & Execution
• Conduct research to identify and attract candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events.
• Proactively engage in cold calling and direct outreach to connect with high-quality candidates.
• Build and maintain strong pipelines for civil, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering-related positions , as well as finance, HR, sales, operations, and administrative roles.
• Candidate & Client Engagement
• Maintain strong relationships with candidates by providing timely updates and feedback.
• Negotiate offers and manage candidate expectations effectively.
• Partner closely with hiring teams to ensure alignment on role requirements and recruitment strategies.
• Process & Technology
• Leverage recruitment software (e.g., Recruiter Flow, Ceipal ) to manage candidate data and streamline operations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and recruiter productivity.
Qualifications
• Experience
• Minimum 6–8 years of recruiting experience in non-IT roles within Utilities & Energy (civil, electrical, or mechanical disciplines preferred) .
• Prior experience in a team lead or senior recruiter role is strongly preferred.
• Experience with US-based recruiting is highly advantageous.
• Skills
• Strong sourcing and research skills, with proven ability to engage passive candidates.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Outstanding relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ATS/recruitment software such as Recruiter Flow, Ceipal, or similar tools .
• Ability to thrive in time-sensitive, deadline-driven environments .
• Other Requirements
• Flexibility to work within the US Eastern Time Zone .
• Freshers will not be considered; this role requires seasoned recruiting expertise.
