Project Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python/Django developer with experience in frontend Rails to enhance our existing web application. This project involves building new features, ensuring smooth integration with our current stack, and delivering clean, maintainable, high-quality code.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across backend and frontend, collaborates effectively with the team, and can handle complex technical requirements with reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend features using Python/Django
  • Implement frontend functionality using Rails, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Integrate new features into the existing application without disrupting current workflows
  • Collaborate with team members on feature planning, code reviews, and testing
  • Use Claude Code effectively for development tasks
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python and Django
  • Proficiency in Rails for frontend development
  • Experience with API integration and database design
  • Familiarity with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Comfortable with remote collaboration and asynchronous communication

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with SaaS applications or feature-rich web platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or similar)
  • Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js) in addition to Rails
