🔹 Role Overview

The Project Manager for Data Center Construction (Low Voltage) is responsible for leading the design, installation, and commissioning of low-voltage infrastructure in new and retrofit data center projects. This includes structured cabling, BMS, security systems, networking, and controls.

The role ensures delivery meets technical standards, security requirements, schedules, and quality objectives while collaborating with developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning, installation, and commissioning of low-voltage systems (structured cabling, BMS, networking, security).
  • Coordinate developers, general contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and audits to monitor quality and progress.
  • Manage schedules, milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies across workstreams.
  • Review budgets, invoices, and change orders with project controls teams.
  • Facilitate communication and reporting across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with codes, company security requirements, and policies.
  • Lead commissioning, system validation, and final turnover documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned.
  • Mentor internal team members on low-voltage scopes.
