Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Principal Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our BIM360 Admin Team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the BIM360 administration tools. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our customers’ needs. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Ruby on Rails applications for the BIM360 Admin platform Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the teamâs technical growth Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive Requirements: Bachelorâs degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of professional experience in software development Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails and modern web development frameworks Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices Strong DevOps skills, including experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools Solid knowledge of AWS and cloud services Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent written and spoken English.
