Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Research Analyst to support mission-critical decision-making initiatives. This role focuses on leveraging advanced mathematical modeling, analytics, and data science techniques to optimize operational processes and enhance organizational effectiveness within a high-security environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply probability models, statistical inference, simulations, optimization methods, and mathematical models to solve operational challenges.
  • Introduce quantitative and data-driven approaches to support military decision-making processes.
  • Establish measures of performance and effectiveness to evaluate agency directives.
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Build predictive models and simulations to forecast outcomes.
  • Optimize resource allocation and logistical operations.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses to assess project feasibility.
  • Prepare and present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor implemented solutions and recommend improvements.
  • Stay current with emerging analytical tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience in:
    • Operations Research
    • Mathematics
    • Statistics
    • Computer Science
    • Related quantitative discipline
  • Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB, SAS, or R.
  • Familiarity with machine learning and data mining techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
