A leading technology services organization is looking for a skilled On-Site Data Center Engineer to support enterprise AI and server infrastructure environments. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality customer support in mission-critical data center operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for enterprise server hardware and AI infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers and related data center equipment.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, component replacements, and preventive maintenance.
  • Respond to service requests and incidents within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with remote engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, configurations, and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational standards within the data center.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical support, field service engineering, or data center operations.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware, system troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, networking fundamentals, and hardware components.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-availability environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting AI infrastructure or high-performance computing environments.
  • Industry certifications (such as CompTIA, server hardware certifications, or similar).
  • Familiarity with data center best practices, cabling standards, and rack deployments.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
