Job Description

We are seeking a skilled .NET Software Engineer to work on automotive systems projects at Cummins, Columbus, IN. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in .NET technologies, experience in automotive software development, and familiarity with industry standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software using WPF, .NET Core, and .NET Framework
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with attention to unit testing and debugging
  • Follow automotive software development life cycle processes, including version control and continuous integration
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to deliver high-quality automotive software solutions
  • Apply problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve software issues
  • Stay updated with automotive standards and protocols

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of practical experience with .NET technologies (WPF, .NET Core, .NET Framework)
  • Familiarity with unit testing concepts and debugging techniques
  • Understanding of automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR
  • Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols: J1939, UDS, CAN
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in automotive software projects
