This role is for a Mid-Level Front-End Developer responsible for designing and implementing responsive, user-friendly web applications. The position involves working closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver scalable and maintainable front-end solutions.

Job Description

The Mid-Level Front-End Developer role at Maximus focuses on building high-quality web interfaces that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will be responsible for translating design wireframes into functional, interactive applications using modern front-end technologies.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. You should be comfortable working in agile development environments and capable of handling both independent tasks and team-based development activities.

This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a strong understanding of responsive design principles and performance optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks
  • Convert UI/UX designs into high-quality, reusable code
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
  • Debug and resolve technical issues across multiple platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)

  • Understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development
  • Experience with UI libraries, component-based architecture, and state management
  • Ability to debug and optimize performance issues
  • Strong understanding of browser rendering behavior
  • Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
