Project Overview

We are looking for a skilled developer to build a dynamic live dashboard that uses Tally Prime as the single source of truth. This dashboard will integrate with Google Sheets and WhatsApp to provide actionable insights and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in data visualization, API integration, real-time data processing, and automation workflows.

Scope of Work

Milestone 1: Tally Prime → Google Sheets Sync (Core)

  • Sales & Receivables: Sync sales invoices and bank receipts from Tally Prime to a “Payment Follow-up” sheet. Automate calculations such as “Days Delayed.”
  • Automated Landing Cost (LC): Pull purchase bills and related freight/loading/fuel vouchers from Tally to calculate exact product cost per item in a consolidated sheet.
  • Live Stock Register: A read-only sheet that mirrors Tally’s stock summary. Stock quantities should auto-update (deduct on sales, add on purchase).
  • Deliverables: Fully functional, automated sync from Tally Prime to Google Sheets every 1–4 hours.

Milestone 2: AI-Powered WhatsApp Lead Capture

  • Build an n8n AI Agent connected to WhatsApp for the field sales team.
  • Natural Language Parsing: Extract structured data from messages like: “Visited Palakkad site, enquired 500 channels, due on 12/01/2026”
    and save to the “Tender Sheet.”
  • Interactive Follow-Up: AI prompts users on WhatsApp if required fields like “Due Date” or “Client Name” are missing.
  • User Attribution: Map the sender’s WhatsApp number to a salesperson’s name in the Google Sheet.

Milestone 3: Financial & Operational Watchdog

  • Cash Flow Tracking: Auto-populate a “Future Expenses” Google Sheet based on Tally’s Sundry Creditors and pending receivable bills.
  • Profit Reporting: Generate automated monthly Gross Profit reports (Sales minus Landed Costs) for each invoice.
  • Low Stock Alerts: WhatsApp notifications when stock levels hit minimum thresholds.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience with Tally Prime API / ODBC integration
  • Expertise in n8n workflow automation
  • Experience with Google Sheets API, scripting, and real-time data syncing
  • Knowledge of WhatsApp Business API or Twilio API
  • Familiarity with AI/NLP tools to parse natural language messages
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver on deadlines

Deliverables

  • Fully functional live dashboard integrating Tally Prime, Google Sheets, and WhatsApp
  • Automated workflows for syncing, reporting, and alerting
  • Documentation of setup, workflows, and user instructions
