Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java / Angular Full-Stack Developer to support Enterprise Support Systems (ESS) Hardening initiatives. This role focuses on improving the security, stability, performance, and resilience of enterprise applications used in mission-critical operational environments.

As a technical leader, you will collaborate with security, infrastructure, QA, and architecture teams to modernize applications, remediate vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with enterprise technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the enhancement and hardening of enterprise applications built with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, stability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement secure coding standards, input validation, and robust error handling.
• Upgrade frameworks, libraries, and dependencies to secure and supported versions.
• Strengthen authentication, authorization, and role-based access control (RBAC) mechanisms.
• Improve system resiliency, logging, monitoring, and observability.
• Partner with security and QA teams to support penetration testing and vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure applications comply with enterprise security policies and governance standards.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentoring to development teams.

Required Technical Skills

Leadership

• Proven experience in a Lead Developer or Technical Lead role
• Ability to guide architecture decisions and mentor engineers

Backend Development

• Strong experience with Java (8+ / 11+)
• Expertise in Spring Boot and REST API development

Frontend Development

• Modern Angular framework
• TypeScript and JavaScript

Security & Application Hardening

• Secure coding practices
• Vulnerability remediation
• Authentication and authorization improvements

Database & Data Layer

• Strong knowledge of SQL and enterprise database systems

DevOps & Delivery

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Automated builds and deployment processes

Troubleshooting

• Strong root cause analysis and debugging skills
• Performance optimization experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application hardening and security remediation projects
• Familiarity with SAST / DAST security tools
• Experience working in regulated, enterprise, or mission-critical environments
• Exposure to cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
• Background in large-scale enterprise platforms
