Role Overview:

As a Junior Web Developer, you will specialize in Shopify theme development and customization, working closely with designers and developers to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive, and high-performing e-commerce websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and customize Shopify themes using Liquid.
  • Build reusable components for scalable and consistent designs.
  • Implement responsive, mobile-first layouts.
  • Transform design mockups into interactive, pixel-perfect themes.
  • Optimize Shopify stores for speed, performance, and accessibility.
  • Integrate third-party apps and APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and debug theme-related issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain best practices.
  • Stay updated with Shopify platform updates and ecosystem changes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1–3 years in web development.
  • Shopify Expertise: Proven experience with Shopify theme development/customization.
  • Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of React, GraphQL, and API integrations.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and cross-device compatibility.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
  • Understanding of e-commerce UX best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.

Tools & Technologies:

  • Mandatory: Shopify, Liquid, Shopify CLI, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, GraphQL, Git.
  • Nice-to-have: Rebuy, Shopify Functions, TypeScript, SEO tools, PageSpeed Insights, Shopify Plus.
