Java Developer (Remote | US EST Support)

Job Description

Location: Remote (Work Across US EST Time Zone)
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

Key Requirements

Must-Have:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development
• Proficiency with Docker (build, run, troubleshoot containers)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ownership mindset – accountable, proactive, responsive until task closure
• Comfortable collaborating with US-based stakeholders and teams

Good-to-Have:

• Experience with Custom Java frameworks (big plus)
• Knowledge of Apache Thrift

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based backend services
• Participate in design discussions and proactively resolve issues
• Collaborate with team members via Zoom calls and remote tools
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, production-stable code
• Provide timely updates and maintain responsiveness in communication
