Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend / Full Stack Developer to join our Vertical Consulting team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to shape their digital strategy, define execution roadmaps, and design and deliver scalable digital solutions that create measurable business value.

The ideal candidate brings strong backend expertise along with hands-on full stack experience, and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end features using React on the client side.
  • Write clean, secure, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
  • Design data models, optimize database queries, and work with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Contribute to system architecture, technical design discussions, and code reviews.
  • Participate in testing, deployment pipelines, and production support activities.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement long-term fixes.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, with exposure to full stack engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one server-side language or framework such as Java, Node.js, or Python.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
  • Frontend development experience with React.js, including hooks, state management, and component-based design.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
