Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Paralegal with 4–5+ years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing a high-volume caseload while meeting monthly billing goals.
Responsibilities:
• Handle insurance defense matters with minimal supervision
• Order and obtain records via subpoena (DWQ) and FOIA requests
• Review and analyze medical records, including preparation of medical chronologies and paid vs. incurred charts
• Draft pleadings, including answers and motions
• E-file with Texas state and federal courts
• Interview clients, drivers, and witnesses
• Communicate effectively with courts and opposing counsel
• Schedule depositions, mediations, and hearings
• Bill time accurately and consistently to meet 130+ hours per month
Qualifications:
• Minimum 4–5 years of insurance defense experience
• Strong knowledge of Texas and federal court e-filing systems
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Projected Total Compensation: Up to $85,000.00 per year
