The opportunity available is for an Indian Cuisine Sous Chef who will play a critical role in embracing and exploring culinary inspiration from Indian and Middle Eastern flavors. This position is ideal for a dynamic chef passionate about flavor-forward concepts and bringing fresh ideas to menu development. The Sous Chef will be instrumental in creating vibrant, authentic Indian dishes that highlight rich curries, aromatic biryanis, and sizzling tandoori specialties. The role demands mastery of traditional Indian cooking techniques such as roasting, braising, tempering, and slow simmering, all executed with artistry and precision to build memorable flavor profiles.

This role emphasizes culinary consistency and quality, requiring the Sous Chef to prepare dishes in strict alignment with recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards. They will be responsible for efficient ingredient usage to minimize waste while consistently delivering dishes that meet DO & CO’s high-quality benchmarks. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment, the ideal candidate must thrive across multiple kitchen stations, maintaining an organized, polished workstation and adhering rigorously to hygiene and sanitation protocols. Food safety compliance within the Food Safety Management System is paramount, and any concerns or anomalies must be promptly reported. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $90,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits including 401K, medical, dental, and vision coverage. • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine
• Relevant culinary training or certification preferred
