Patient Portal + Clinician Dashboard (React + .NET / Java) — Contract to Hire

We are building a modern healthcare web platform consisting of a patient portal and a clinician/admin dashboard.

We are looking for an experienced development team that can first lead a short Discovery phase, then deliver a structured MVP in milestones.

This project has potential to evolve into a long-term contract or full product build.

Project Overview

The platform will support communication and workflows between patients and healthcare providers, with strong attention to security, compliance, and auditability.

The system must follow HIPAA-aligned best practices and be built with scalability and maintainability in mind.

MVP Scope

Patient Portal

Features for patients will include:

• Secure account authentication
• Profile management
• Consent management
• Intake forms and medical questionnaires
• Appointment / visit overview
• Secure document access and uploads

Clinician / Admin Dashboard

Internal tools for healthcare staff:

• Patient directory with search and filtering
• Care notes and patient records
• Tasks and workflow tracking
• Role-based access control
• Audit logging for sensitive actions

Technology Stack

Frontend

• React

Backend

One of the following:

• ASP.NET Core (C#)

• Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure

Security Requirements

The platform must follow HIPAA-aligned controls, including:

• Data encryption in transit and at rest
• Least-privilege access
• Detailed audit logs
• Secure document storage and handling
• Strong authentication practices

Healthcare or regulated-industry experience is strongly preferred.

Integrations (Phaseable)

Planned integrations include:

• Email and SMS notifications
• Optional FHIR / EHR integrations
• External healthcare systems (future phases)

Experience with healthcare interoperability standards is a plus.
