About the position
The Graphic Design Marketing Specialist at Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is responsible for creating visually compelling graphics that effectively communicate key marketing messages across various media. This role involves managing the production of graphic designs, ensuring they align with the Credit Union’s brand and marketing goals, and delivering high-quality, print-ready files on time. The specialist will collaborate with marketing leadership and other creatives to develop cohesive marketing materials and support various promotional campaigns and events.
Responsibilities
• Create effective and compelling graphic designs for marketing campaigns, media placements, and branded materials.
• Develop graphics for digital ads, brochures, flyers, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with marketing leadership and peers during creative sessions to align graphics with marketing goals.
• Manage the production process with vendors for print and digital materials, ensuring quality control and compliance with specifications.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet expectations and deadlines.
• Regularly review visual design elements for technical accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the distribution of event materials and ensure timely delivery to end-users.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Digital Graphic Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Graphic Design position preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) on Mac platform.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with multimedia graphics including video and animations.
• Knowledge of advertising, marketing, and community/public relations principles.
