V3ra by H3lix Corp is a healthcare technology startup building a next-generation autonomous patient intake platform designed to eliminate workflow breakdowns and documentation failures that cost hospitals billions in denied claims each year. The company has validated its solution with over 100 hospital leaders, physicians, and ER directors and is actively deploying its beta with pilot hospitals. Currently in the pre-seed stage, the team is moving quickly to scale its platform and integrations.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced Full-Stack Integration Engineer (Contract-to-Hire) with 10+ years of professional experience to lead the architecture and development of V3ra’s frontend and backend systems. This role will focus heavily on healthcare integrations, including EHR/EMR platforms, billing systems, HL7/FHIR interoperability standards, and connectivity with a proprietary physical intake device.

This position is central to the company’s technical execution and offers a clear pathway to a full-time, equity-eligible leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop scalable frontend (React.js) and backend (Node.js) systems.
  • Lead integrations with major EHR/EMR platforms such as Epic Systems, Cerner, and Meditech.
  • Build and maintain HL7 v2/v3 and FHIR R4 compliant interoperability pipelines.
  • Integrate software with IoT-enabled physical intake hardware devices.
  • Connect platform modules with hospital revenue cycle management (RCM) and billing systems.
  • Design and maintain HIPAA-compliant cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement authentication, audit logging, encryption, and healthcare security best practices.
  • Collaborate directly with executive leadership, AI teams, and clinical operations to align technical solutions with real hospital workflows.
  • Troubleshoot integration challenges and optimize system performance and scalability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience with modern web technologies.
  • Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL or similar databases.
  • Proven experience integrating healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, billing, or clinical platforms).
  • Deep understanding of HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards.
  • Experience building and deploying HIPAA-compliant healthcare applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced startup or high-ownership environments.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
