Role Overview

The Full Stack Developer will design, build, and deploy containerized applications supporting mission-critical systems for NATO SACT. You will work onsite in Norfolk, Virginia as part of a cross-functional agile team, contributing across the full technology stack: front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and DevSecOps pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack applications using JavaScript, Python, and/or Java frameworks.
  • Perform front-end development using React or Angular.
  • Perform back-end development using Node.js, Django/Flask, or Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Build and maintain database schemas using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Package and deploy applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Apply Test Driven Development (TDD) and Extreme Programming (XP) practices.
  • Participate in pair programming and collaborative agile development.
  • Rapidly learn new frameworks, languages, and tools to meet evolving mission needs.
  • Support DevSecOps pipelines and iterative Agile delivery practices.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen with an Active U.S. Passport.
  • Active NATO or DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Minimum 4 years of full-stack development experience using JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • Minimum 4 years of front-end (React, Angular) and/or back-end (Node.js, Django/Flask, Spring Boot) experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of database design and programming experience (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerized deployments.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
